Temple City Unified School District’s 2014-2015 Teachers of the Year were recognized for their outstanding dedication and service to the District and its students at the November 12, 2014 Board of Education Meeting.
- Cloverly Elementary School celebrates fourth grade instructor, Allen Wong, as its teacher of the year.
- Emperor Elementary School honors fourth grade teacher, Vicky Lin.
- Special Education instructor, Connie Grainger, is La Rosa Elementary School’s outstanding teacher.
- Oak Avenue Intermediate School recognizes English Language Development teacher, Natasha Neumann.
- Band and Orchestra instructor/director, Bert Ferntheil, is Temple City High School’s teacher of the year.
- Mr. Ferntheil also received special recognition as TCUSD’s Teacher of the Year for his outstanding service to students and the District.
- Reggie Rios receives special teacher of the year honors at the Dr. Doug Sears Learning Center.
Board Members Kenneth Knollenberg, John Pomeroy, Bob Ridley, and Kien Tiet and Superintendent Kathy Perini congratulated everyone for receiving these very special and well-deserved awards. TCUSD’s Teachers and Classified Employees of the Year were also honored at a special recognition luncheon at the District Office on October 30.
