Pizza Employee Arrested for Stabbing Customer Over Late Delivery

Covina Police Officers arrested a pizza delivery man on January 2, 2016 on suspicion of stabbing a customer over a delivery order in Covina.

The 31-year-old delivery man, Michael Charles Parker, reportedly stabbed a 20-year-old customer in the wrist and neck area after a dispute over a late pizza delivery to the victim’s home in the 600 block of N. Mangrove in the City of Covina. The victim was treated at the scene then transported to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.    

Police officers contacted Parker at the pizza business where he worked and he was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon. Parker posted bail of $30,000 and was released from custody. He is scheduled for arraignment at Citrus Superior Court on March 21, 2016.
