Crime in Pasadena This Week

This past Wednesday night at about 10:30pm, an armed man walked into the Subway restaurant on South Arroyo Parkway, ordered some cookies, and then, when the employee opened the cash register, he took out a gun and ordered her not to close it, according to the Pasadena Police Department. The employee instead closed the register and fled to the bathroom, where the suspect proceeded to steal the register, which contained about $500. Police are looking for a 180-pound, male suspect in his late twenties with dark complexion, about 6″8 tall.

Also this past Wednesday afternoon, Pasadena Police, with assistance from South Pasadena Police, arrested three men in their early twenties for breaking into homes in Pasadena, according to the Pasadena Police Department. After the suspects were scared away from breaking into one home after an alarm and a call to Police from a nearby resident, they went to another a few blocks away, where Police investigating the first incident quickly responded, finding a pillowcase of stolen goods. A short pursuit on foot followed, where Police then arrested Andre Norwood, DaJuan Bryson and Cedric Horn, of Los Angeles and Inglewood.
