News Makers: Teen News Training Program

On October 21st, 2017, Crown City News Network is hosting a Broadcast Training Program from 10 am to 4 pm inside the Community Center of the Altadena Main Library located at 600 E. Mariposa Street, Altadena, CA 91001. This program is being offered to young people who want to learn more about the production side of broadcast television. Students will learn a variety of procedures and techniques, such as TV News reporting, TV News Writing and Producing, Videography, video editing, on-camera video delivery, professional dress and makeup for tv news, and more.

This program is being facilitated by Tami Devine, President of Crown City News Network. Tami Devine provides media training for all interested people wanting to work in broadcast television, she is an expert media trainer who has taught aspiring journalists how to write, produce, and work in broadcast news. She has helped launch the careers of many aspiring journalists, who have gone on to work at ABC, NBC, and many other major television networks around the world.
