Man Pleads No contest to Attempted Murder

Alexander Tor McDonald, 31, pleaded no contest on October 2nd to two counts of attempted murder and admitted a great bodily injury allegation, he was sentenced to 14 years and four months in state prison for the stabbing of two victims at an apartment complex.

The suspect held three men at knifepoint inside apartments on Palm Avenue, and as deputies arrived at the scene, one man ran out with a wound on his neck followed by a second victim, all on April 7th, 2014.

Believing the second victim was the attacker, deputies fired their guns, injuring the man that was bleeding and killing the second man, while this case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sherrif’s office.
