Daniel Molayem Found Guilty of Murdering Partner on Skid Row



Daniel Molayem, 31-years old, has been found guilty of murdering his partner on Skid Row last year.  The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that Molayem was found guilty of first-degree murder and found the weapon allegations to be true.

The suspect had approached his girlfriend in the 500 block of San Pedro Street and shot her with a handgun on March 23, 2017, she died at the scene. They were in a dating relationship for more than 15 years.

Deputy District Attorney Lisa Kassabian of the Family Violence Division prosecuted the case. Molayem will be sentenced on December 1st and faces a possible maximum sentence of 50 years to life in prison.
