25-year old Sammeon Christian Waller was sentenced to seven years in state prison for breaking into his grandfather’s Pomona home, he proceeded to beat the elderly man the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Waller pleaded no contest to two felony counts in case KA115541, the charges were elderly abuse and first-degree burglary.
According to Deputy District Attorney Sandra Jimenez, police were called on June 9th to conduct a welfare check on an 82-year old Pomona man, he had not been seen for several days. Upon arriving on the scene, the police discovered the elderly victim with significant injuries on his body; he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The victim’s grandson, Sammeon Christian Waller was identified as the assailant in the attack. He was later located in Sacramento and taken into custody.
