Tami DeVine Loves Sharing Her Story – Book Her Today

Today I’m speaking at the Pasadena Rose Republicans Club and I’m so looking forward to it!  These are wonderful amazing people who love their country and who asked me to share my story with them.  I’m also scheduled to share my story in various places around the country in the next four weeks.  Touch bases with me to find out where and when!  My story almost always leaves me teary-eyed each time I share it.  I’ve been sharing it for 35 years and it never fails to at least give me goosebumps.

I also get rather emotional thinking about this greatest country on God’s green earth, the United States of America.  What an amazing experiment our founding fathers created.  A place where people are free to say what they want, a place where if the government gets oppressive we can oust it peacefully at the voting booth in 4 years, a place where no one branch of government is supposed to have more power than another.

All of this hangs in the balance these days.  I have a vested interest in making sure America remains the last bastion of freedom, because I come from a place that does not afford people the same liberty or opportunities.

I was born in a mud hut in Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am now in the news and entertainment industry in Southern California.  The journey from there to here still boggles my mind each and every day.  The kindness and mercy of white American missionaries to adopt me, love me as their own and treat me as their own allowed me to have adventures I could never have dreamed of as a little girl in a mud hut in Sierra Leone West Africa.

I share my story in the hopes that others, no matter who they are, no matter where they are will be inspired to get up, take charge of their lives, and make a difference right where they are.  With technological advancements it seems like we are more and more drawn inward toward ourselves.  As someone who was blessed by the actions of others, I challenge everyone to look up from their cell phones, look around and see the people in need, and do whatever it takes to help them reach and achieve their dreams.  As a woman of faith I challenge everyone to contemplate their Creator and ask what they can do to be saved, ask how to bless God back a little bit  each day, and ask Him who to minister to today.

My story is now an award-winning documentary called Iron Chain Last Hope produced and directed by award-winning film maker Laurel Adler.  It won two awards at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Las Vegas:  Best Director Documentary and Best Political Commentary.  In it I share my story and the impact of race issues I faced as a young person in the United States.

I have now written the first book of the Iron Chain Last Hope Book series and am raising the funds to publish it on GoFundMe.com.   If you can spare a few dollars please go over there and donate and help me reach even more people through this book series.

I love sharing my story at events around the world, at clubs, churches and schools, and honestly to anyone who’ll listen.  God’s been so good to me.  I can’t help but shout about it from the rooftops.  So please contact me today and let me know with whom you’d like me to share my story.  You can reach me at info @ crowncitynews.com or on all the social media outlets using my name Tami DeVine.  I can’t wait to meet you!
