A Pacoima man faces felony charges of murder, torture, and special allegations of using a knife as a deadly weapon, reports the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Napoleon Eduardo Castro stands accused of murdering and stabbing his wife nine years ago. Olga Martinez, 30, was stabbed to death in her garage on May 1, 2010. Allegedly Castro ambushed, tortured, and killed Martinez and then fled to El Salvador. He was extradited on February 14 of this year. His arraignment was held on February 19.
If convicted Castro faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. He is currently being held without bail.
