Man Charged with Thirty Year Old Inglewood Murder

Nearly thirty years ago 11-year-old William Tillett was walking home from school his Inglewood elementary school when he disappeared. His body was later found abandoned in a carport and the culprit was never caught until perhaps now.

Edward Donnell Thomas stands accused of Tillett’s kidnapping and murder. Thomas faces charges of murder, special allegations of murder during a kidnapping and lying in wait as well as possession of a firearm by a felon, reports the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

If convicted Thomas will possibly face the death penalty or life imprisonment without parole. Thomas had a court appearance today but will have a continued arraignment on April 4 of this year.
