Business Life Publisher John Krikorian collapsed Wednesday night while giving a speech during a Glendale Fire Department awards ceremony. His friends say he was about half way through his speech for winning the “Service Above Self” award,

when he suffered a massive heart attack. Because so many firefighters and paramedics were nearby, Krikorian was given care immediately on the scene then taken to Glendale Adventist Medical Center.
PR Representative Ron Carter who has helped organize several Business Life events says Krikorian was fortunate that medical personnel were available and that the Hospital was so close by. He says Krikorian was stabilized but remains in Intensive Care.
Krikorian has featured many Pasadenans and others from around the San Gabriel Valley in his magazine.
