Her friends say former Pasadena Neighborhood Housing Services Director Saundra L. Knox died Monday, January 2nd. She was featured in the Pasadena Heritage oral histories, and made an unsuccessful bid for the Pasadena City Council in 1995 when she lost to Joyce Streator. At the time the Los Angeles Times reported that her ties to controversial councilmember Isaac Richard cost her the election. Knox will be missed. “She played a wondereful part in many peoples lives in Pasadena,” says Patricia Duff Tucker, who worked with Knox at Pasadena Neighborhood Housing Services.
