A house fire at 730 Palisade Street in Pasadena trapped 3 people inside injuring all three and one police officer. Fire officials say the electrical fire broke out at a little after 8 Tuesday evening. When fire engines arrived they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the home, just up the hill from the Rose Bowl. The two alarm fire took emergency crews more than 3 hours to put out. 3 women in their 50s and 60s are listed as residents in the home. Authorities say the three people who were transported to the hospital suffered from smoke inhalation, and that a police officer who helped in the rescue of victims suffered from minor smoke inhalation. The smoke and flames caused $100,000 worth of damages to the structure, and $75,000 to the contents.
