A man from Pasadena was arrested early on Sunday morning, police say for suspicion of running down and seriously injuring two women during a fight outside a house party. They say the alleged attack took place around 1 a.m. on Saturday at a house party near Raymond Avenue and Hammond Street.
Pasadena police say a large crowd of people were standing outside when a fight broke out. During the fight, they say a man intentionally backed into the crowd with his Nissan Altima, but fled before officers arrived at the scene.
Two women suffered injuries from the attack say authorities. They say their legs were broken and they were lying down in the street when police responded to the incident.
Officials say the suspect was later arrested at his father’s house. They say he was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held in lieu of a $1 million bail.
