Representatives say the San Gabriel Police Officers’ Association is hosting their annual Badges of Courage golf tournament next month in San Dimas on Friday, August 9th. They say the 5th annual tournament will take place at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course at 2100 Terrebonne Avenue.

Organizers say the entry fee is $125 per golfer which includes lunch, refreshments, the use of a golf cart with GPS, and dinner. They say trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place teams in categories; such as longest drive, closest to the pin, and most accurate drive. The event will include raffle prizes, a live auction, and celebrity guests, say administrators. They say a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local community organizations.

Following the tournament, officials say a dinner will be held at Zendeja’s Mexican Restaurant, 665 W. Arrow Highway in San Dimas. They say non-golfing guests may attend for $25 each.
