CCN Sunrise, Live from Pasadena, the new one hour TV and Web morning show covering Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley announces a new partnership with Beacon Media News. “Because we are so focused on providing TV and video news, we often have a tough time providing written, up to date news on our website and social networks, so it made perfect sense to partner with Beacon Media for that purpose, especially since editor Terry Miller and his team provide such quality, consistent news and information for their readers througout the San Gabriel Valley,” says Tami DeVine, CEO of the International Media Training Center, the organization producing CCN Sunrise.
The Partnership will include CCN Sunrise and Crown City News providing written news on their websites from the Beacon Media Group’s newspapers including the Pasadena Independent, Arcadia Weekly, Monrovia Weekly, Sierra Madre Weekly, and the Temple City Tribune. CCN Sunrise and Crown City News will link the stories back to the Beacon Media outlet it came from, and provide the by-line information for each story’s author. Beacon Media also plans to link to CCN’s TV news stories and features. CCN Sunrise will feature journalists from the Beacon Media News Outlets to provide local analysis on stories happening near and far.
Beacon Media Editor Terry Miller says, “Having known and respected Tami DeVine now for several years, I felt this was the perfect time to partner with CCN to better serve our readers and subscribers . Beacon Media Inc., like CCN, has grown exponentially in recent years as an independent news organization. Expanding and sharing news coverage will greatly benefit San Gabriel Valley residents in a unique, fun way with this new collaboration. I look forward to working closely with Tami DeVine in the coming months and years. As always, we always welcome comments and community input , so please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any issues you think we should cover.”
So get ready to see more news and information in different formats on Beacon Media News outlets and on CCN Sunrise and Crown City News. DeVine couldn’t be happier. “Crown City News has always looked for opportunities to work together with other local news outlets, and we’re really grateful that Beacon Media believes in what we’re doing, and that they aren’t afraid to join forces to ultimately provide new and fun ways for people in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley to stay informed about what’s happening in their local neighborhoods.”
