Marengo Ave. The city has been trying to reach an agreement with the owner to buy the property, but her company, Trove Investments, has rejected multiple offers over the past year, according to the Pasadena Star News.
The building’s location near City Hall and downtown make it prime real estate and a top priority for the city. Suggestions for the building have included a luxury hotel or office space.
