Pasadena City Council Weighs Action on Arizona Laws

The Pasadena City Council will decide what, if any, action they’ll take on the new Arizona Laws dealing with illegal immigration and ethnic studies.  The troubled border state recently passed a law allowing police to question anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant about their citizenship status, and ask for documentation, if the person is stopped for suspicion of another crime.   Arizona’s governor has also signed into law a bill that stops ethnic studies in an Arizona school district because some say the studies cause segregation.  CCN’s Tatiana Toomer gets local reaction to both tonight on CCN – Crown City News at 6.   Let us know your thoughts on these immigration laws and whether Pasadena should get involved.
