Disasters:

Some days are not ordinary at all in Sierra Madre. The whole community remembers days when Mother Nature sent challenges to the city in the form of water, mud, fire, wind, earthquakes and even spiders. Resilience and preparation are part of what it takes to live in Sierra Madre.
Wistaria Tour:

Our city’s famous flowering vine has been the source of many stories. Come hear about the earliest days of the vine that “ate a house” and the people who tended it into the world record holding “Largest Flowering Plant in the World.”

Mt. Wilson Trail Race & Mountain History:

From trail races to scientific opportunities, the mountains and trails that make up Sierra Madre’s backyard have been the source of recreation and exploration for over a century. Mules and telescopes, mountain camps and even Einstein are part of our mountain heritage.
