A fatal crash involving a big rig and sedan kills one person in Montebello during rush-hour Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the crash was reported about 4:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the Freeway near San Gabriel Blvd. Officials shut down all westbound lanes on the 60 freeway for miles so they can clear the wreckage. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
California Highway Patrol Officers reopened two lanes around 8:00 p.m.
