Violent Crimes and Property Crimes Statistics…

Preliminary reported crime data shows that overall incidents of violent crimes have increased by .20% and property crimes have decreased by -0.86% in Sheriff’s patrol areas countywide, compared to numbers from the around the same time last year. Overall these numbers show a -0.67% decrease in overall crimes. Over the last five years the preliminary crime data shows the overall incidents of violent crimes decreasing by -1.75%, meanwhile property crimes have increased by 1.85% in Sheriff’s patrol areas countywide. The numbers combine to show a 1.17% increase in overall crimes. Preliminary reported crime data shows that as of September 2017, criminal homicides had a decrease of -19.15% in Sheriff’s patrol areas compared to the same time last year, and there was a 0.0% change compared to 2012.
