Brentwood Man Pleads Not Guilty to Stabbing of Parents

Brentwood man pleads not guilty to two felony counts of murder, attempted murder, and special allegations of using a knife as a deadly weapon, reports the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

42-year-old Stephen Lloyd Fader faces up to 32 years to life in state prison for the stabbing of his parents Sharon Fader, 75, and Howard Fader, 82. Howard and Shader Fader were attacked in their Santa Monica home between the dates of January 23 and 24 of this year. They were stabbed multiple times leaving Howard Fader badly injured and killing Sharon Fader.

Stephen Fader pleaded not guilty on February 19 to the charges against him. His bail is set at $3 million.
