Authorities say they are warning residents of auto burglaries in the north end part of Monrovia. They say in the past few weeks, unlocked cars have been the target at night for these thieves.
Police say it’s important that residents make sure to lock their cars when leaving them unattended, and not to leave valuables in plain sight. They say even an ash tray full of change can be enough to catch the attention of an auto burglar.
If anyone has information on these crimes, please report it immediately to the Monrovia Police Department.
