Business Life Magazine will be honoring the women who have strengthened their entrepreneurial skills and served as leaders for the community of Los Angeles County at its “24th Women Achievers Business & Healthcare” conference at the Glendale Hilton Hotel this coming morning of September 30th, 2013. Joining in the event as Honorary Co-Chairs are The Honorable Michael and Christine Antonovich, Los Angeles County Supervisor from District 5, and The Honorable Carol Liu, State Senator representative from the 25th District.
The event will be offering free workshops, networking, professional development, and job opportunities all throughout the morning. The day will start with the registration for the event at 8:30am, followed by the entrepreneurial and leadership workshops until 12:00pm, and ending by 1:30pm with the “Saluting Women Achievers” Luncheon. Business Life Magazine, along with the Honorary Co-Chairs, invites everyone to participate in this special event for empowering women.
Among the honorees are CCN – Crown City News’ own Tami DeVine who will be recognized as a Woman Achiever along with 26 other women in business including women from Disney, City of Hope, Kaiser Permanente and others from prominent businesses and organizations throughout Los Angeles County. Although the luncheon honoring the women is sold out, Business Life encourages everyone to attend the free workshops and business expo, a welcome event for many job seekers.
