The Villa-Parke Boxing Program says they will host their first ever “Cops in My Corner” Boxing Show on Saturday, Dec. 14th at the Villa-Parke Community Center Gymnasium in Pasadena. They say the show will feature male and female competitor boxers from throughout Southern California that range in age from 8 years old and up.
Officials say the purpose of this event is to establish a relationship between Pasadena police officers and youth in the community. They say their plan is to motivate kids by reaching out in the area of fitness.
The “Cops in My Corner” Boxing Show is open to the public, but a $5.00 donation would be appreciated to support the program. All children under 12 years old may attend this event for free.
