Police say a 12 year old boy was arrested earlier this week for stabbing a 7th grader with a broken drumstick at a local middle school in Arcadia. They say units were called to First Avenue Middle School at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
An argument between the two students erupted which caused the 12 year old to stab the other in the calf with a broken drumstick, say authorities. They say the 12 year old was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and the victim was rushed to a hospital.
Officials say they are still unaware of what the argument was about.
